Sam Claflin (“Enola Holmes,” “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire”) will star in the Colm McCarthy-directed supernatural thriller “Bagman” for Lionsgate. John Hulme penned the script whilst Marty Bowen and Wyck Godfrey are producing.

The Fabulous Four

Susan Sarandon, Bette Midler and Megan Mullally are attached to star in Jocelyn Moorhouse’s feel-good comedy “The Fabulous Four”. Jenna Milly and Ann Marie Allison penned the script and filming begins in September in Atlanta, Georgia and Key West, Florida.

Sarandon and Mullally play two life-long friends (Sarandon, Mullally) who travel to Key West to be bridesmaids in a surprise wedding of college girlfriend Marilyn (Midler). Sisterhoods are rekindled, the past rises up, and sparks, drinks and romance fly. [Source: Deadline]

Cube in My Head

Ice Cube will star in the comedy feature “Cube in My Head” for Luminosity Entertainment. Filming aims to begin later this year.

The story follows a hapless white guy who, after getting into an accident, starts seeing Ice Cube in his head with the actor/rapper aiding him in getting his life back on track. [Source: Collider]

Big Rig

Vanessa Hudgens will star as a female trucker in the Martha Steph-directed feature “Big Rig” which boasts a script by Ryan Binaco. Kelsey Law, Claude Dal Farra and Brian Keady produce and filming begins later this year.

Hudgens plays a young mother who finds her freedom and herself on the open road as a big rig truck driver. As she makes new friends and racks up the miles, she finds her home life harder to return to. [Source: THR]

Wicked Little Letters

“The Lost Daughter” duo Olivia Colman and Jessie Buckley are set to reunite on comedy “Wicked Little Letters” at Studiocanal. Graham Broadbent and Peter Czernin will produce and Thea Sharrock directs.

Based on a true story, the pair play very different neighbours in the seaside town of Littlehampton in the 1920s. The pair come together to solve a mystery. [Source: Deadline]
